University of Leicester Open Scholarships

The University of Leicester offers 40 Scholarships of £3000 per year to self-funded students from countries outside the European Union enrolling on either undergraduate or postgraduate programmes, excluding MBChB Medicine, foundation courses, distance learning and the MBA. The criterion for the awards is academic distinction and only students who have been offered a place at the University of Leicester are eligible to apply. The scholarships offer a reduction of £3000 from the published tuition fees for each year of the normal duration of the course (PhD maximum of three years). Students taking the Foundation Year at University of Leicester are eligible to apply when they transfer to the degree course.

Closing date for applications 30 April 2005. Successful applicants only will be informed of the results by 30 June. If you have not heard from the University by this date please assume your application has been unsuccessful.
