Study Awards
Study Awards are for full-time multi-year courses in New Zealand. They may be available for senior secondary level studies for applicants from certain Pacific countries but otherwise tertiary level studies. For countries outside the Pacific, study is usually at post-graduate level, with the exception of Timor-Leste.

The Study Awards cover tuition, enrolment and orientation fees, economy fare travel, a basic living allowance with the provision for accommodation expenses (paid through study institutions). Assistance is also provided for some course-related and health care costs and may be provided for dependants for courses of study 18 months or longer.

Please note that study awards are not available for applicants from African countries, meaning undergraduate level study is not available for applicants from African countries on NZAID funded awards.
