MCUis offering 4 scholarship opportunities to European students enrollingin the 1st year of study at MCU. The individual student will be awardedwith scholarship covering full tuition of MCU for at least one year, upto three years, depending on the academic performance and approval ofthe MCU Scholarship Committee.

Purpose:
To provide an opportunity for studying in Taiwan
To enhance cultural exchange through students' visit
To provide professional knowledge taught in English and experience of living in a Chinese-speaking environment

DegreeDuration and Entry: Undergraduate students shall complete Year 1 toYear 4 in MCU and obtain a BA degree. The BA degree program is open forentry as early as fall 2007. Postgraduate students shall study at least2 years in MCU and obtain a MA
degree. The MA degree porgram is open for entry as early as spring 2007.

Deadline:The application deadline expired on May 31, 2006 for Spring 2007 entry,but applications are still accepted. If you are interested, pleasecontact the university as soon as possible. The application period forFall 2007 entry is between March 1 and May 31, 2007.

Target group:
Applicants should have an average grade of 80 or B+ in academic performance or above
Non-native speakers need to prove their English language proficiency: TOEFL 500 paper-based or 173 CBT or above
Incase of enrolement in Chinese-taught degree programs applicants need toprove their Chinese language proficiency: CPT 3 or HSK 6

Price:Students will be responsible for arranging the necessary visa and thecosts of accommodation, international travel, travel in the hostcountry, books, equipment, consumables, health and travel insurance,and other incidental expenses arising out of the study period.On-campus Accomodation: approximately 700 US Dollars per year. BasicExpenses (Housing, Living, etc.): approximately 5,500 US Dollar per year.
