The University of Canterbury offers up to eight scholarships per year to international students of exceptional ability entering the first year of a bachelor’s degree. The value of these scholarships is NZ$4,000 per year for three years. There is no separate application form.To be considered for a scholarship, candidates must have been accepted for entry in their chosen course and have pre-enrolled by 31 December.

A-level students from UK:
For 2006 two of the University’s international undergraduate scholarships have been set aside for students from the UK wishing to gain their bachelor’s degrees at the University, commencing in February 2006.
