The Nanyang Scholarships are awarded to outstanding freshmen pursuing undergraduate courses in Nanyang Technological University.

Nanyang Scholarship

The Nanyang Scholarships are awarded to outstanding freshmen pursuing undergraduate courses in Nanyang Technological University.

* Students who are offered Engineering course will be streamed into one of the engineering specialisations in the second year on the basis of their first year university results and competition.

Terms And Conditions Of AwardEach scholarship covers the following fees throughout the course of study provided the scholar maintains a standard of performance and conduct to the satisfaction of the University:
* Tuition fee directly payable by students (after Tuition Grant)
* Living allowance of $5,000 per academic year
Candidates in receipt of other scholarships are not eligible for the Nanyang Scholarships.
There is no bond attached to the Nanyang Scholarship apart from the 3-year bond applicable to all foreign students under the Tuition Grant Scheme.

Eligibility
>> Singapore-Cambridge GCE A Level Qualifications

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are invited from candidates with outstanding academic achievements in secondary and junior college education.

Candidates offering Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ Level qualifications should have:
* Very good results in the GCE ‘A’ Level Examination including ‘S’ papers
* Impressive records of co-curricular activities indicating strong leadership potential

Application Procedure
You are required to submit an essay in softcopy (Microsoft Word document) using the upload form feature at the end of the on-line application form. Please write a short essay of about 150 - 200 words on any topic of personal importance to you. Please have the essay ready for uploading before you submit the on-line application form.

Interview
If you are shortlisted for interview, you will be notified to produce the original and photocopies of your educational qualifications when you attend the interview.

Application Period
The same closing date for application for admission applies.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates offering international qualifications should have outstanding academic results and extra-curricular activities.

Application Procedure
As the scholarship is offered to students admitted to NTU, applicants with international qualifications (eg. STPM) have to first submit the on-line application for admission to NTU.

After successful submission of the on-line application form, please apply for the scholarship here by keying in the application number assigned to you.

Interview
Only shortlisted applicants would be informed of the scholarship interview schedule.
