What you must have

• Singapore citizenship, Singapore Permanent Residence orcitizenship of Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam,Hong Kong, China and India.
• Excellent GCE 'O' & 'A' level results with at least 3 distinctions at Advanced Level.
• Active core-curricular activities.
• An innovative and enterprising mind with an international outlook.
• Great team working abilities, leadership qualities and good communication skill.

What the scholarship covers

The scholarship includes full tuition fees and a living allowance thatcovers return air passage, excess baggage, warm clothing, books,accommodation, maintenance and medical health insurance fees.

You will be insured by our Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme with 24-hour world-wide coverage.

During your course of study, you will participate in The DBSInternship, guided by an experienced DBS mentor and take on projectsand gain hands-on experience in our business operations.

The courses you can pursue

Depending on your interest, your course of study can be any ofthese: Accountancy, Business Administration, Arts & SocialSciences, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics orStatistics. You may opt for other courses subject to our approval.

The university you can enrol

The DBS scholarship is tenable at top universities in Singapore and overseas, preferably in UK and the US.

Career with DBS

Upon graduation, an exciting banking career awaits you in DBS. Ourfull scholarship grant to you is deemed repaid over a specified periodof employment - up to 2 years of service for local (Singapore)scholarship and 5 years for overseas scholarship.

If you conclude that a banking career is not in your best interest, youwill have to repay the full scholarship quantum at a preferentialinterest rate in one lump sum, or through a commercial loan from DBS,subject to commercial considerations.
