We are pleased to be able to offer a range of scholarships and prizes, as follows:

Menzies College Entry Prize Scholarships
Up to three entry scholarships are available for beginning undergraduate students entering Menzies College. The
scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and potential contribution to college life. The scholarships
are offered for first semester but are renewable subject to outstanding academic performance in mid-year results.
Their value is %50 remission of residential fees, approximately $1,600 per semester. Information and application

Menzies College Entry Scholarships
Up to five entry-level scholarships are available for beginning undergraduate students entering Menzies College.
The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and potential to contribute to the cultural or
community life of College. The value of these scholarships is 30% remission of residential fees; the scholarships
are valued at approximately $1000 per semester (and are renewable for second semester subject to outstanding

Menzies College Leadership Awards
Up to five leadership awards per semester, each worth up to $500, are given to students joining College who are
able to contribute with distinction to our sporting, cultural or community life. Students wishing to be considered for
these awards should note this in their Application for College Accommodation, in Section E, and supply as much
documentation as possible. The awards are made in the first few weeks of each semester. Information is available

Menzies College International Scholarship 2006
Starting in 2006, the college will offer residents two scholarships to enable them to travel overseas for one of the
following: (i) community project work, (ii) short cultural exchange program, or (iii) semester exchange. The value of
each scholarship is $1500. Details and application forms will be available during first semester 2006.

Menzies College Law Scholarship 2006
Starting in 2006, the college will offer residents two entry scholarships to students enrolling in law. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and potential to contribute to the cultural or community life of College. The value of each scholarship is $1000. 2006 Targeted Regional Scholarships
Entry-level scholarships, each worth up to $1,000, will be available for students with outstanding contributions to
make to Menzies College from key regional areas, including (but not exclusive to) Wangaratta, Bendigo, Ballarat
and Tasmania. Information on these is available from college - and prospective students should contact us for
details.

Towards the start of each semester, all residents' academic results are evaluated by the Head of College who then
makes the award of a variety of prizes, certificates and book tokens. Each student granted an award is invited to
take part in a gala evening of celebration—a notable College acknowledgment of the importance of academic
success.
