Scholarships Financed by the Italian Cooperation
TheGeneral Directorate for Development and Cooperation of the Ministry ofForeign Affairs of Italy has granted funds for scholarship forpostgraduate students from developing countries.
In this respect, at The Agricultural Institute in Bari (CIHEAM), Italy, experts will be trained into the sustainable agricultural development in the Mediterranean region.
The course will be held in two phases
1) 4 months in Italy (CIHEAM)
2) 4 months on-line training with CIHEAM
Thepostgraduate training course will start in November 2005. The 27selected candidates from various countries will be granted with monthlyscholarships amounting 150, 00 EUR, aimed for lodging and boarding, aswell as 100, 00 EUR for initial lodging. Travel expenses as well asmedical and accident insurance will be covered too.
