This fellowship awards annual doctoral and postdoctoral researchgrants of up to $20K to three women worldwide, on a regional basis.The fellowships boost promising research in the Life Sciences byhelping the beneficiaries, who have already distinguished themselvesby their talent and commitment to pursue promising research at whatmay be a critical point in their scientific careers. The SelectionCommittee makes the final choice of three Fellowship beneficiariesfrom each of five UNESCO geopolitical regions: Africa, Arab States,Asia/Pacific, Latin America/Caribbean, and North America/Europe.
