The School of Computational Science at Florida State University isseeking to fill a postdoctoral position in the area of computationalmethods for multiscale problems and, in particular, for coupledatomistic-continuum problems. Expertise in the focus areas is, ofcourse, desirable, but not absolutely necessary. What are required is
a Ph.D. in mathematics, material science, engineering, or relateddisciplines, knowledge and experience in computational methods andtheir analysis, and programming experience in Fortran or C. Theposition is initially for one year, but is renewable for a second yeardepending on performance and funding availability.
