USA: PhD Position in Adaptive Higher-order Finite Element Methods, University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP)
The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) opens a new Ph.D. position in the field of adaptive higher-order finite element methods
starting with September 2007. The position comes with a competitive stipend. Summer internships at Sandia National Labs, Albuquerque, NM are expected. Students finishing their M.S. degree in Spring 2007, preferably (but not limited to) Computational Mathematics or Computer Science are welcome.
