1. Tasmanian International Scholarships
- 25% off the registered tuition fees for the entire course, including honours year
- Available to all undergraduate degrees (except Medicine), Foundation Studies and postgraduate coursework programs
- Applicants can apply for start of year or mid year intakes
- Awarded on academic achievements in secondary, diploma or degree level courses
How to Apply
All applicants who complete an International Application Form are assessed for a scholarship and are notified in writing if they have been successful.
2. International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS)
- Covers tuition fees (normally 3 years for PhD and 2 years for Masters degree) and basic health care cover for scholarship holder and dependants (if dependants are travelling to Australia)
- Available to International Students (except New Zealand) commencing PhD or Masters level research programs in 2006
- Up to 6 scholarships are available
- Awarded on academic merit and research capacity
Note: you are not eligible if:
- You already have Masters degree by research or PhD and are applying for the same degree
- You have already commenced study before 1 st January 2006
- You have completed study on an AusAid scholarship less than two years prior to application
How to Apply
- Complete the IPRS application form and a referee report form and attach to the International Application Form for study at the University of Tasmania.
- Closing date for applications 30 September 2005. No late applications will be accepted
- Successful applications will be notified in December 2005
- Applicants must accept the offer of a scholarship by the date noted or the offer will lapse
Thomas A. Crawford Memorial Scholarship
- For research students from Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, United Kingdom and the United States of America
- Provides a generous living allowance, course fees and some removal expenses
