ARGENTINA Postgraduate Award (Chevening)
One award, funded jointly by the University of Warwick and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to contribute to the cost of academic fees and maintenance according to the British Council’s guidelines. The award is for 2006 entry and is open to prospective full-time Master’s course students in any subject area (with the exception of the MBA). Applicants should be nationals of Argentina, not currently registered at the University of Warwick and should have received an offer of a place to study at Warwick for 2006 entry. The scholarships are one-off awards.

COLOMBIA Postgraduate Awards (Warwick/Colfuturo)
The University of Warwick will offer a 10% reduction in tuition fees to all full-time students who register on a one-year Master’s programme (with the exception of the MBA) for 2006 entry. Applicants should be nationals of Colombia, not currently registered at the University of Warwick and should have received an offer of a place to study at Warwick for 2006 entry. Only students who have been awarded a Colfuturo scholarship-loan are eligible. All applications must be made through Colfuturo.

DFID Shared Scholarship Scheme
These scholarships are funded by the Department for International Development and British Universities. The scheme is intended to help students from developing commonwealth countries to follow postgraduate courses related to the economic and social development of their home country. Awards are available for specific taught Master’s degrees. Departments nominate candidates for these awards so please indicate that you wish to be considered for a DFID award on your application form.

RUSSIA Postgraduate Award (CHEVENING)
One award, funded jointly by the University of Warwick and the British Council Moscow, to contribute towards the cost of academic fees and maintenance according to the British Council’s guidelines. The award is for 2006 entry and is open to open to prospective full-time Master’s students in any subject area (with the exception of MSc Economics and the MBA). Applicants should be nationals of Russia, not currently registered on a postgraduate course at the University of Warwick and should have received an offer of a place at Warwick for 2006 entry. The scholarship will cover the tuition fees and provide a monthly stipend. This is a one-off award, non-renewable after the first year of study. The closing date for applications is 20th October 2005.
