UK: University of Gloucestershire Scholarships


A number of scholarships acknowledging individual academic merit are available for international students who are applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course at University of Gloucestershire.

Eligibility and Application Procedures
In order to be eligible for consideration, candidates must:

  1. be classified as ‘overseas’ for fees purposes
  2. have applied for a place to study on either a 3 or 4 year undergraduate degree programme or a taught master’s degree programme at the University of Gloucestershire by 30 April 2006
  3. complete and submit a Scholarship application Form by the closing deadline of 31 May 2006
  4. accept an offer of a place on either a 3 or 4 year undergraduate degree programme or a taught master’s degree programme and meet the conditions of any offer

Students are only eligible to apply for one University of Gloucestershire International Scholarship for 2006 entry.

Scholarships will be awarded on academic merit, by a selection panel and on the basis of the information provided on both the Scholarship Application Form and either the UCAS or postgraduate application form. Successful candidates will be informed in writing by 31 July 2006.

Please note:

  • Awards are offered for 2006 entry and cannot be deferred.
  • Scholarship awards will be deducted from the tuition fees payable to the University.
  • By submitting an application, candidates agree to their name being publicised as a scholarship winner.
  • Applicants must not be in receipt of a full scholarship from another source.
  • The Scholarship Panel’s decision is final.
