The University of Nottingham celebrates its international research activitywith the following awards for entry in September 2006
12 x PhD SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS(classified as ‘overseas’ for fees purposes)
- 7 for new students
- 5 for University of Nottingham alumnus
- full tuition fee
- any subject area
6 x CHINA SCIENCE RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTSFROM THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA(classified as ‘overseas’ for fees purposes)
- new students registering in the Schools of Chemistry, Maths and Physics
- full tuition fee
10 x EUROPEAN UNION PhD SCHOLARSHIPS FOR NON-UK EUROPEAN UNION NATIONALS (classified as ‘non-UK’ for fees purposes)
- new students
- any subject area
- full tuition fee OR stipend to the same value
MINIMUM OF 3 x DOROTHY HODGKIN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS (classified as ‘overseas’ for fees purposes)
- New students (subject areas and nationality to be defined at a later stage)
