UK: Research Studentships in Built Environment, University of Northumbria
The School of the Built Environment welcomes expressions of interestfrom graduates in the UK and overseas, to study for a full time threeyear PhD to start in September 2006, in one or more of the followingtopic areas:
- Virtual Reality in the Built Environment
- Management of the Construction Process
- Health and Safety Management in Construction
- Control Systems for Energy in Buildings
- Geothermal Energy Modelling
- Affordable Rural Housing
- Architectural and Urban Design Processes in the 21st Century
- Sustainable Management of the Historic Built Environment
The award will be a bursary of £12,500 per annum for three years, andtuition fees will be paid by the University.
Applicants should hold a masters degree or first/upper second classhonours degree, which does not necessarily need to be in a BuiltEnvironment subject.
