Loughborough University is offering up to 50 full time research studentships tenable in any academic Department of the University in the academic year 2006/07. The studentships, which cover a maintenance award and tuition fees at UK/EU rates, are available for well qualified candidates who wish to pursue research leading to the award of PhD of this University.

Eligibility
Candidates must have obtained or expect to obtain by 31 July 2007 a good honours degree, normally a 2:1 or above or an equivalent qualification, and to have satisfied the University’s admissions criteria. Candidates must be eligible for tuition fees at UK/EU rates and be able to commence their research and register at the University by 31 July 2007.

Value of the Award
The Awards are tenable for three years and are valued at £10, 500 for maintenance plus tuition fees at the UK/EU rate.
