UK: Research Scholarships in Architecture and Built Environment University of Westminster
The School of Architecture and BuiltEnvironment (www.wmin.ac.uk/sabe) arecurrently offering 5 awards to candidates wanting to pursue aM.Phil/ PhD in the following areas:
Architecture - experimental; historicaland cultural studies; doctorate by design project.
Property and Construction - projectmanagement; construction management; design management; propertymanagement.
Transport - air transportand airports; logistics and distribution; public passengertransport; urban transport and traveller behaviour.
Tourism - development of tourism inLondon; management of tourism in tourist-historic cities; businessand conference tourism in cities; city image and events.
Urban Development and Regeneration -planning and economic governance in the London city-region; theimplementation of high density housing in London, the design andmanagement of the street.
- Amount: Fixed term £12000 p.a. tax free stipend plustuition fee waiver (renewable for three years subject tosatisfactory academic progress).
- Eligibility: Students who wish to pursue a MPhil or PhD in anyof the above mentioned areas.
- Criteria: Students with an Upper Second Class Honours firstdegree in a relevant subject and a Master's degree orequivalent.
