Responding to Excellence -A new series of Postgraduate Scholarshipsfor the Arts – 2006 Entry
25 x 50% Tuition Fee Scholarships* available at the University of Nottingham, for entry in 2006, in the following Schools, Departments and Institutes:
- American and Canadian Studies
- German
- Archaeology Hispanic & Latin American Studies
- Art History History
- Centre for the Study of the Viking Age
- Music
- Classics
- Philosophy
- Critical Theory & Cultural Studies
- Russian & Slavonic Studies
- Film Studies
- Theology
- French
Applicants must be classified as ‘overseas’ students for fees purposes and be applying to study full time.
Applications for the scholarships should be submitted to the International Office by5 May 2006.
The 25 scholarship winners will be notified in June 2006.
The University of Nottingham has an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research and for the environment in which students live and study.
These scholarships cover 50% of the full ‘overseas’ Arts based tuition fee (see schedule of full tuition fee for students classified as ‘overseas’ for fees purposes). In addition to the tuition fees for international students, we estimate that in 2006-2007 an international student unaccompanied by relatives will need approximately £700 per month for accommodation, maintenance, recreation and other expenses in the UK.
