UK: Postgraduate Scholarships at School of Historical Studies, University of Birmingham
Scholarships are available to support postgraduate research students commencing October 2007. Within the School, there are research degrees in the disciplines of AFRICAN STUDIES; AMERICAN AND CANADIAN STUDIES; ANCIENT, MEDIEVAL AND MODERN HISTORY; ARCHAEOLOGY; BYZANTINE, OTTOMAN AND MODERN GREEK STUDIES; CLASSICS; HISTORY OF ART AND THEOLOGY AND RELIGION.
On Wednesday 17 January 2007 at 3.00 pm Professor Shearer West, Head of the School of Historical Studies, will give a presentation to people applying for Arts and Humanities Research Council Postgraduate Studentships.
Awards are also available from the ESRC in certain subjects for linked Master's/PhD awards (1+3) or three-year PhD studentships only.
