The Peninsula Medical School and the Postgraduate Peninsula HealthInstitute together with their parent Institutions, the Universities ofExeter and Plymouth, are seeking to attract PhD candidates ofoutstanding ability to join their exciting and rapidly expandingprogramme of internationally rated research.

As part of our new developments and our commitment to researchexcellence, applications are invited from potential and recent,suitably qualified graduates, 2:1 or above, for 16 full-time PhDstudentships.

Stipends vary slightly, see websitehttp://www.pms.ac.uk/pms/school/jobs.php for the list of Studentshipsand Stipends, but will be at least the MRC current rates of £12300 for2006. Tuition fees will be paid at the home rate. Candidates fromcountries outside the European Union will be liable for the differencebetween ‘home student fees’ and ‘foreign student fees’.
