The University of Plymouth School of Nursing and Community Studies, as partof the Peninsula Postgraduate Health Institute, is seeking to attract PhDcandidates of outstanding ability to join their exciting and rapidlyexpanding programme of research. We are pleased to offer 4 PhD studentshipsfor high calibre applicants to undertake projects relating to the School’sprogramme of research.

Award: Each of the studentships will be funded for 3 years duration,commencing January 2007. For each award, the School will meet the PhD costsat the Home/EU rate and provide a doctoral stipend of £12,300 per year,subject to satisfactory progress. Candidates from countries outside theEuropean Union will be liable for the difference between ‘home student fees’and ‘foreign student fees’.
