UK: PhD Studentships at Centre for Dynamic Macroeconomic Analysis, University of St Andrews

The Centre for Dynamic Macroeconomic Analysis (CDMA) , based in theSchool of Economics and Finance at the University of St Andrews, isoffering two PhD studentships to be taken up in Autumn 2006 – or as soonas possible thereafter – to work on topics related to the micro-foundedmodels of aggregate fluctuations.
You will work on these topics in part with CDMA affiliated members ofthe School and undertake limited undergraduate teaching in return for afinancial support package which will cover tuition fees in addition to astudentship of £12,000 per year.
Eligibility:
You will have completed a Masters degree in economics or you will haveat least an Honours degree-level education in a technical area such asmathematics or engineering. Offers of a studentship will be conditionalon applicants being admitted to the University as a PhD student. Awardswill be for one year in the first instance, with continuation for afurther two years subject to satisfactory progress each year.
