UK: PhD Studentship in Wireless Communication Technology at The University of Liverpool
PhD Studentship Department of Electrical Engineering and ElectronicsTo join a three year EPSRC funded project in Signal Processing andCommunications Research Group, Department of Electrical Engineering andElectronics a well-resourced department with a 5A rating from the last RAE.The project is on adaptive Turbo frequency domain equalization for highspeed multiple-input multiple-output wireless communications, which is incollaboration with the Toshiba Communications Research Lab, UK.
You should have at least a bachelor’s degree with first class honours inElectrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent, and havedemonstrated academic and research ability in wireless communications andsignal processing. A strong mathematical and analytical background isdesirable. Good programming skills are desirable. A total amount of £46,155will be provided to the student for three years, from which the appropriateamount of university fees will be charged.
