An EU-funded PhD Studentship is available to commence October 2007. The project will be supervised jointly by Prof. Martin Farrall and Dr. Andrew Morris within the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics at the University of Oxford. A highly motivated research student is sought to join GABRIEL, a multidisciplinary EU-funded research programme to identify key factors in the development of asthma. Candidates must hold a good honours degree (first or upper second class for UK graduates or equivalent for EU applicants); statistics and/or maths graduates are encouraged to apply (training in population and quantitative genetics will be provided if necessary).
