4-year PhD Studentship, Cardiff School Of Mathematics
With Welsh-medium teaching requirement
Applications are invited for a PhD research studentship in any of the following areas of Mathematics, to start on 1st October:
Analysis Computational Rheology, Operator Algebras, Numerical Analysis, Fluid Mechanics, Noncommutative Geometry, Inverse Problems, Statistics, Combinatorics, Mathematics of Materials, Operational Research, Number Theory
Candidates should hold, or expect to hold, a first degree in Mathematics with at least upper second class honours. Candidates must be proficient in Welsh and will be expected to undertake some Welsh-medium teaching within the School.
