This is relevant because of Liverpool'srole as European Capital of Culture in 2008. Such a designationpresents an unparalleled research opportunity to analyse the potentialsocio-economic and regenerative effects upon the City and itshinterland.
This position would suit those from a social science background with a2:1 grade or higher. A postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.

This project will investigate the practice of corporate governance andits relationship to matters of corporate strategy, structure andchange. The research will focus on the UK context, with somepossibilities for a regional focus.
This position would suit applicants with social science and/ororganisational-managerial studies qualifications at 2:1 grade orhigher. A postgraduate qualification would be an advantage as would ademonstrable interest in developing novel approaches to qualitativeresearch.
