The University of Edinburgh UK/EU Master’s Scholarships
Twelve scholarships are available to UK and EU students who have been accepted at the University of Edinburgh on a full-time Master’s degree programme in any subject offered by the University. The scholarships will cover the UK/EU tuition fees up to £4,850 which will be deducted from the tuition fee and will be tenable for one academic year.
Eligibility
The scholarships will be awarded to UK/EU citizens who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study at the University of Edinburgh.
Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
Criteria
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit with candidates requiring a first-class honours degree from a UK university, or the overseas equivalent.

A completed scholarship application form, together with a copy of your degree transcript and two academic references, should be received by the Scholarships and Student Finance Office by the closing date of 1 May 2009 in order to be considered for the scholarship.
Selection Procedure
A Selection Committee will meet in late May 2009 to select the scholarship holders. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in early June 2009.
