Switzerland: PhD Position in Molecular & Cellular Biology (Alzheimer’s)
The EPFL (http://www.epfl.ch) and the Brain Mind Institute are seeking an outstanding and highly motivated PhD student for a project with focus on the regulatory mechanisms of γ-secretase, an intramembrane-cleaving protease directly implicated in Alzheimers Disease as it releases the neurotoxic amyloid β-peptide (Aβ) from its large precursor (APP).

Requirements:
Candidates must have a strong background in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Biochemistry. The successful candidate should also possess a high degree of motivation and creativity, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and interact with a multi-disciplinary team of scientists.
