Graduate Scholarship, Research in Empirical Microeconomics, Institute for Fiscal Studies
The IFS runs an annual Graduate Scholarship Programme which finances a student for three years to undertake research leading to a degree of Ph.D. The scholarship is payable at the ESRC rate, currently £12,500pa.
The successful student will register as a full-time student at the Department of Economics, University College London and will have access to the extensive research facilities of IFS and UCL. At IFS they will be associated with either the ESRC Centre for Microeconomic Analysis of Public Policy, joining one of the numerous research groups or the Leverhulme Centre for Microdata Methods.

IFS has established an international reputation in Microeconometrics and Empirical Microeconomics research and its relation to policy issues and your research should be relevant to these areas.
