Scholarship from Konrad Adenauer Center for Journalism
The fellowships are granted to full-time Asian journalists whohave been admitted to the M.A. Journalism, a 12-coursedistance learning program administered by CFJ. Applicants arescreened on the basis of their professional and academic record,commitment to journalism and leadership qualities. Agrant covers tuition and expenses for books, travel and accommodations. Applicants from the Pacific Islands may alsobe considered.
Applications for admission to the M.A. program and for the fellowships are both due on Friday, April 15 for the firstsemester which starts in June.
Twenty-one journalists from six countries have received the fellowship since it was established in June 2003 to coincide withthe launch of the M.A. Journalism program. The presentfellows come from Sri Lanka, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, India,and from the Philippines. Seven fellows are expected tofinish the program this month.
