RMIT UniversityInternational Scholarships (RUIS) will be awarded to new internationalpostgraduate research students with excellent academic performance. Thisscholarship is not available to students already enrolled at RMIT University.In 2005 thescholarship included tution fees and a living stipend of approximately A$19,000per annum.

RMIT University is committed to world-classresearch that is practical, applied and valuable. The University is committed to attracting topresearch students into its key areas of expertise as reflected in theUniversity's research concentrations listed below. Priority for scholarships will be given tostudents conducting their research in one of these concentrations.

All newly commencing students who have lodged a program application form for programs listed below will be considered for the RMIT University International Scholarships.

How to apply:

Step 1 - Apply for a postgraduate research program at RMIT University

All applicants wishing to apply for an Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) 2006 and/or RMIT University International Scholarship 2006 must have received an offer letter for an RMIT postgraduate by research program.

Assessment of research applications can take more than two months as an appropriate supervisor needs to be assigned to you. This means the application could be reviewed by a number of academics before a decision is made. It is advisable to apply for a place in a research program as early as possible.

If you have been communicating with any RMIT academic regarding various research areas please attach a copy of this correspondence to ensure a more efficient application process.

Step 2 - Apply for the Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) 2006 and/or the RMIT University International Scholarship (RUIS) 2006.

Information and scholarship application forms for both the Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) and the RMIT University International Scholarship (RUIS) for 2006 will be available from July 2005.

Applications will close for both scholarship programs at 5.00pm Eastern Standard Time on Friday 30th September 2005. Please ensure that you access this site regularly.
