Applicationsare invited for a PhD Studentship in the Cell Signalling and ApoptosisGroup, Basic Medical Sciences Department, University of Lleida, Spain.The research project has a three years funding by the Spanish Ministryof Health and starts immediately.

We are seeking a highly motivatedcandidate interested in neurotrophin receptor signalling. Our teaminvestigates the role of a putative calmodulin binding site of Trkreceptor on signal transduction and receptor trafficking.

Theproject will involve the use of a combination of molecular, cellularand biochemical approaches, including recombinant DNA techniques, cellculture, transfection, immunocytochemistry, recombinant proteinexpression, western blot, in vitro kinase assays, etc.

Thesuccessful candidate will join a multidisciplinary, friendly, dynamicand well-funded group located at the new research laboratory of theUniversitary Hospital of Lleida.
