PhD Research Studentships
 

The School is offering a number of PhD studentships for graduates withexcellent qualifications in appropriate study backgrounds who are highlymotivated to do research. The studentships may be for full or partialsupport for up to three years, and can be worthin excess of £15000 per annum.

The School of Computing Sciences at UEA has a strong track record in research and innovation in areas including:

  • Computational Biology
  • Imaging, Graphics and Vision
  • Mathematical Modelling and Algorithms
  • Speech, Language and Virtual Humans

A selection of PhD projects is listed below. Alternativeprojects can be arranged by sending anapplication with an indication of your area of interest.

For details on how to apply, please see the Postgraduate Research Programmes page. Decision meetings will take place inthe first weeks of March, June, and September. In the paststudentships have all been allocated within the first two meetings.
