PhD Position in Molecular Palaeontology (vacancy number 65401).
This PhD project comprises a detailed paleocenographic reconstructionof the conditions during the Upper Cenomanian Oceanic Anoxic Event-2using a variety of organic geochemical proxies. Black shales recentlyrecovered from the Demerara Rise (off Surinam) during Ocean DrillingProject Leg 207 will form the basis for this study.
