In the School of Environmental Sciences at UEA Norwich, physical,chemical, biological and social science methods are applied to thestudy of natural and human environments and man's role in them. It isthe largest interdisciplinary department in its subject area in the UKand was graded Double 5*, denoting particular excellence atinternational level in the most recent Research Assessment carried outby the Higher Education Funding Council. Research studentships will beavailable starting in October 2005 covering a variety of topics.Enquiries and applications are invited from candidates having, orexpecting to obtain in 2005, first or upper second class Honoursdegrees or Masters degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Computing, Economics,Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geography, Geology, Mathematics,Physics, Social Science or related subjects.
