Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management is looking for a suitable candidate to fill Ph.D. position (stipendiatstilling) in Telecommunication Economics. Position is funded by Telenor for the duration of three years with possible extension for the fourth year.

We are looking for a candidate with strong background in quantitative modelling and expertise in economics, finance, decision sciences. Knowledge of telecommunication technology, while a plus, can be provided during the Ph.D. training. The topic of the research will be evaluation of business models and industrial projects related to provision of advanced data services of new generation. The successful candidate will receive both academic and industrial supervision and will participate in international research projects with involvement of major players of European telecommunication industry.
