Physics/Materials Science PhD scholarships; Wellington, New Zealand: Applicants are sought for PhD scholarships in the Radiation Imaging and Detection Group at Victoria University. The research to be undertaken will be on nano-structured and composite materials for X-ray, gamma-ray and neutron detection and imaging. The program seeks to develop new materials based on nano and micro–ngineering of glasses, glass ceramics, and polymer-crystal composites which can yield improved performance of scintillators and phosphors.
