Nanostructured Materials Through Metastable Transformations
Materials Research
The Materials Research group of the School of Aerospace,Automotive and Design Engineering within the University of Hertfordshire is seeking a goodquality student to work on a 12-month M.Sc. by research project on the processing ofnanostructured materials through metastable transformations. The project which is funded by the EU willinvolve the study of the consolidation of nanostructured powders at high temperatures.Specifically the mechanism and kinetics of consolidation will be investigated. The successfulcandidate should be a University graduate with a first or upper second class degree in Materials, Metallurgyor related areas. Further information may be obtained by contacting Dr A.
