The University of Luxembourg hires for the TDK Professorship in its Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication

2 PhD students photovoltaics (m/f)

Solar cells made of chalcopyrites reach the highest efficiencies obtained by thin film technology on the lab scale as well as in production.

In our lab we investigate the fundamental opto-electronic properties of these materials and develop new low-cost preparation methods for these solar cells.

We expect:

• a masters or diploma degree in physics with excellent grades
• good knowledge of solid state physics
• inquisitiveness, commitment and creativity.
