The International Graduate Program on Science and Engineeringat Saitama University offers highly qualified overseas studentsthe opportunity to pursue doctoral studies and researchin Information and Computer Sciences.

The scholarships for the program of Information and Computer Sciencesare available for only TWO highly qualified students each year.Therefore, the selection is highly competitive.Evaluation of applications will be based on the candidates’ scholasticability and research potential assessed from previous credentials,recommendation letters and the essays of research plan on selectedtopics. Short-listed candidates will then be invited to facean Internet-based interview conducted by a panel of three facultymembersat a pre-determined time schedule. The details of this interview willbe sent out to short-listed candidates. The final selection is madebased on the performance at the interview. The two selected candidateswill also be asked to fill in and submit some application formsrequired by The MEXT. The list of candidates nominated for thescholarshipis then recommended to the Ministry for final approval.
