The Information Engineering Department is ranked among the first ones about research activities of medium-size Italian Universities. It raises funds from different European and Industrial projects.
Possible research projects:
PhD research topics include: Active noise and vibration control, microwave diffraction tomography, non-linear electronic circuits, distributed optical fiber sensors, modeling of reliable distributed systems, robust coding and routing for reliable communications over lossy networks,Wireless Broadband Communications.
General information: Aversa is a relatively small and enjoyable city, only 15 km far from Naples. The cost of living is quite affordable, f.i. a single room can be rent starting from the 100ΒΈ200? range. The cost for food is about 300? per month.
There are good job opportunities with technological industries in the area.
