The University of Trento, School of International Studies, Laurea Specialistica (two
year Master's Degree in European and International Studies, announces apublic selection by written test to establish a ranking for admissionto the first year of the Laurea Specialistica (two year Master's Degreein European and International Studies - Class 60/S - InternationalRelations. Admission for academic year 2005-2006 is limited to 90students, including a maximum of 10 posts for non- EU students residingabroad according to the quota established by Ministerial Circular ref.no. 658 21 March 2005.

The Laurea Specialistica (two year Master's Degree Course is an interdisciplinary
course that offers teaching in the fields of economics, law, sociology,political science, and history. Three different courses of study areoffered: economics, law, and political-social sciences.

ADMISSION TO THE SELECTION
Applications for pre-enrolment to participate in the selection test indicated in Art. 1 above are accepted from:
1) graduates who have four- or three-year university degrees or other degrees awarded
abroad and recognized as equivalent and who do not have more than 30 unearned
required credits in their selected course of study;
2) students enrolled in four- or three-year university degree programsin fields other than Economics and Social Sciences (class 28), Europeanand Transnational Law (class
31) and European Society, Politics and Institutions (class 36) at the University of
Trento or at another University who are missing no more than 17 credits towards their
degrees and who will graduate by December 2005 and who, upon graduation, will not
have more than 30 unearned required credits in their selected course of study;
3) students enrolled in a fully recognized three-year university degree course (class 28 -
Economics and Social Sciences, class 31 - European and Transnational Law, class
36 - European Society, Politics and Institutions) at the University of Trento and
students enrolled in a four- or three-year university degree courses at the University
of Trento or another university who, at the time of graduation, have no unearned
credits and who are missing no more than 17 credits towards their degrees and who
will graduate by December 2005.

To apply for pre-enrolment to participate in the selection, candidatesmust present a selfcertification with the list of exams and gradesobtained; candidates who have not yet graduated must present a list ofthe exams they still have to pass, along with an indication of thecredits and scientific disciplinary field for each didactic activity.
The course is open, under the same conditions, to students who are Italian citizens,
citizens of a European Union country, or citizens of a non-EuropeanUnion country regularly living in Italy and holding a degree awarded inItaly or an equivalent foreign qualification.

Candidates must meet these requirements for admission by the deadline for
presentation of the pre-enrolment application (31 August 2005).Students who intend to transfer from another specialist degree courseat the University of Trento or to transfer from another university mustnonetheless present an application for pre-enrolment for admission tothe selection process. The Laurea Specialistica (two year Master'sDegree Course can only be entered after passing the selection test.
The Admissions Committee, indicated in Art. 5 below, will evaluate requirements and
certify equivalency of candidates' degrees or foreign qualifications.
