Ireland: PhD at the Child and Family Research Centre, National University of Ireland
The Child and Family Research Centre (CFRC) is based in the Department of Political Science and Sociology, National University of Ireland, Galway. With the support of the Atlantic Philanthropies Ireland and the HSE, the Centre is commencing a major programme of policy research towards improving the lives of children. Applications are now being invited for four Ph.D. fellowships.
The Child and Family Research Centre is pleased to offer four postgraduate Fellowships to support Ph.D. level research as part of the work of the centre. Applications will be welcome from individuals who are interested in undertaking research projects in line with the centre’s research themes which are as follows: ecological approaches, social support, resilience, practice and policy development.
To apply: Fellowship candidates should submit a CV and a 2,000 word research proposal. Each fellowship provides €25,000 per annum over a maximum of three years.
