Funded Studentship in Numerical Analysis at NUI Galway

Applications are invited for a Masters by Research in Mathematics at NUI Galway.

The goal of the project is to design and implement numerical methods for systems on nonlinear equations that model patient response to certain drugs in the setting of an Intensive Case Unit.

Starting: September 2009

Funding: Fees plus €17,000 pa for up to 18 months (funded by Science Foundation Ireland)

Requirements: Good primary degree (equivalent to H1 or H2.1) in Mathematics or a related discipline.
