Postgraduate Package Deal

The University is pleased to inform you about thePostgraduate Package Deal for students wishing to commence graduatestudy in September 2005.

The deal is open to all non EU graduates of Swansea including all visiting and exchange students from North America.

The deal entitles you to a package, at a cost toyou of £8,800, inclusive of 51 weeks accommodation in a single room inthe Student Village and tuition fees.

Applicants for postgraduate study, taught courses and research courses, in all subjects are eligible.

The University of Wales Swansea is registered withthe US Department of Education as an eligible foreign institution whichmeans that you can transfer any Federal financial aid to study abroad.Our OPE is 00858600.

All you need to do is apply for Postgraduate Study, and then contact the International Office when you receive an offer of study from the University.

International Office Postgraduate Scholarships 2005/2006

The International Office can offer scholarships of£1000 towards tuition fees for new international students enrolling inthe academic year 2005/2006. The scholarship is for the first year ofstudy only. To be eligible to apply for the award, candidates must meetthe following criteria;

Be holders of an offer (conditional orunconditional) from the University for any Postgraduate Degreecommencing September 2005 and be applicants from outside of theEuropean Union

How to Apply

When candidates receive an offer of study from theUniversity they should either contact the relevant department askingthem to nominate them to the International Office for the award, orthey should contact the International Office directly, who can thenseek advice from departments. If the department supports the student'sapplication for the award, then the applicant will be awarded thescholarship, subject to availability.
