In line with the expansion of our research in the economics of educationand innovation and our co-operation with the LMU, we will be makingimmediate appointments in our Department of Human Capital and Innovation:
Two Research Associates and Doctoral Students in the Economics of Education
As a doctoral student, you will have the opportunity to write yourdissertation in the field of economics. Further tasks are supporting thedepartment head (Prof. Wößmann) in teaching activities in economics,especially educational economics, at the LMU or work on departmentprojects in educational economics.
The successful candidates must have an excellent degree in economics.Proficiency in English and decent German are also necessary. Knowledgeof educational economics and/or empirical microeconomics are desirable.
The positions are for half of the normal working hours and pay isaccording to the German public service pay scale (half of BAT IIa; TVLas of November). The contracts are for an initial two years.
