The primary responsibility is the interdisciplinaryEU-research project “Advanced-_Eval, which developsand applies advanced methods for the ex ante und expost evaluation of EU-rural development policyprograms. The project focuses on the followingmethodological and theoretical re-search topics:
- Agent-based modelling of the rural economy ascomplex social and economic system in-corporatingsocial network relations among agents.
- Applied econometrics.
- Political economy modelling of EU-Rural DevelopmentPolicy (EU-RD policy).
- Simulation of Economic-Ecological Systems based ona multi-agent-model.
The PhD-candidates will be directly integrated into aninternational and interdisciplinary research teamwithin the EU-Project Advanced-_eval. A master’sdegree or a comparable university degree inagricultural or food economics; economics or socialscience; mathematical or computational economics isessential. Good knowledge in quantitative methods ofeconomics or social science.
