Germany: PhD Position in Optimization with PDEs at RWTH Aachen University
The Chair for Computational Analysis of Technical Systemsat the RWTH Aachen University seeks a 75% scientific co-worker(BAT IIa salary scale). The position will support the GermanScience Foundation focus program SPP 1253 “Optimization withPDEs” project “Shape Optimization for Artificial Blood Pumps”.
The candidate is expected to conduct research leading to adoctoral thesis in the area of shape optimization problemsin computational design of implantable blood pumps.
