Germany: PhD Position in Forward Chemical Genetics Involving The Screening of Bioactive Molecules
The Institute of Biochemical Plant Pathology is looking for a candidate to fill a PhD Position (d. 3/07) for a project on forward chemical genetics involving the screening of bioactive molecules. The goal is to identify natural compounds that stimulate growth and pathogen resistance of plants (Arabidopsis and barley). In the field of modern plant biology, the project is based on a variety of sophisticated cellular and molecular techniques including array and bio-imaging technologies.
Candidates that hold the equivalent of a Master`s degree in Biology, Biochemistry or Botany are welcome to apply. Applicants should have profound knowledge in molecular biology and/or biochemistry.

We pay according to EG13/2 (TVÖD). The position is limited to three years.
